Home Sheep Home

June 2nd, 2010 Sean No comments

Hey guys, today I’m showing you a cool little flash game that I think you’ll enjoy.

It’s a physics/strategy game that involves three sheep. You must get from one end of stage to the other using the right sheep to overcome the obstacle.

So have a go of it and enjoy!

I like this game because it’s makes you think about your actions before you do it. Plus it’s fun to push the smaller sheep of the cliff with the fat one :D

I give this game a 4/5 for enjoyment/entertainment value.

Btw, do you like the new theme? It’s pretty cool because it matches the website name more.

Animation Ranks Explained

May 29th, 2010 Sean 2 comments

Hey, today I have made list of all the ranks used when people determine what rank someone’s animation skills are, and given an explanation on what each rank means. This will help you understand what it means when someone say’s you are a certain rank.

So here goes, enjoy!

Low-Beginner: You are really bad at animating, your animations are choppy, stiff, un-eased and you have bad physics.

Med-Beginner: You are still bad at animating but you’re improving a bit, you have some knowledge of easing and it’s not as choppy.

High-Beginner: You have good easing, some limbs may still be choppy and you have pretty good foot placement and the stick figures aren’t very stiff.

Borderline-Intermediate: You have gotten rid of choppiness, your foot placement should be just about perfect, your easing is great.

Intermediate/Inter: You have mastered all the basics (easing, no choppiness, no stiffness, foot placement), physics are improving and you are using backgrounds.

Med-Inter: You are making longer animations, using backgrounds, starting to use camera movements and different camera angles, you have the basics mastered and your physics and animation flow is good.

High-Inter: Medium-inter quality animation but your animations flow really well, they have backgrounds still using camera movements and camera angles, a plot and over-all a good entertainment value.

Borderline-Veteran: Not quite Low-Veteran but not quite High-Inter either.

Low-Veteran: You are getting really good, your animations are awesome and there doesn’t seem to be many flaws in your animations, you have begun using 3D effects that flow and look great.

Med-Veteran: Your animations are near perfect, you are using 3D camera effects to a very high degree, you could make a high veteran or elite animation if you put more time into your animations.

High-Veteran: You are sooooo close to elite you can almost taste it, you have perfected all of your movements and only need to make an awesome storylined animation using all of your skills to become elite.

Elite: You are the best!, no-one is any better than you and you have people queuing up to watch your animations.

I hope you found this useful and good luck with any animations you do in the future.

Iron Baby

Hey, long time no post huh? Yeah, sorry I’ve been caught up with other stuff and trying to juggle two websites that I should be keeping up-to-date regularly is pretty hard too.

Anyway, I have an animation to show you. It’s a parody of Iron Man and it’s done in mind-blowing 3D effects from someone who isn’t a team of hired 3D graphics people, like the Iron Man people have.

So sit back and enjoy this, you’ll like it.

Wasn’t that awesome? I told you you’d like it!

The graphics in this could almost compete with the graphics from the real Iron Man movies.

I will try harder to get more posts out more frequently, I may have another writer coming here soon to help me keep this site up-to-date. See ya next time!

No, it’s not a lazy title, it’s the name of a webcomic which has been turned into a series of animated skits.

I have watched these animations before but just found them again and wanted to show you guys their epicness.

Behold!

asdfmovie 1:

asdfmovie 2:

Both of these animations are awesome, they’re hilarious and very creative. I give them both a 10/10 although I do like 2 a bit better than 1.

I hope you guys liked them! See you next time!

Super Mafia Land!

April 21st, 2010 Sean No comments

Hey guys, long-time no post, sorry about that. Anyway, I’m posting this now and hopefully I’ll be posting here on a regular basis again from now on. I hope you hold me to it.

This is a game I found on Armor Games that I enjoyed alot. The game is called ‘Super Mafia Land’ it’s essentially Super Mario Land but with mafia characters and also made in flash. The idea behind it is quite cool, the creator did it as a tribute for all those fun times you had when you were a kid playing mario on the NES.

Here it is, enjoy!:

Rating: 9.0/10. (Can’t beat the real thing, but this comes close.)

I think this game is great, it definintly brings back memories of playing mario when I was younger.

I hope you all enjoyed that! See you next time!
